Born in Mount Isa, QLD and raised in country music capital, Tamworth NSW, country music has been part of Lane for his entire life. Seeking inspiration from the legends such as Alan Jackson and Brooke & Dunn, through to todays biggest stars like Keith Urban, Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen, Lane has taken it all in to make a style all his own, which he is ready to take to the world at the fresh age of just seventeen.

Australia was introduced to Lane in April 2022, when the then 16 year old school student from Tamworth NSW with the glorious mullet haircut and even more sensational vocal tone wowed audiences with his cover of Luke Combs “Even Though I’m Leaving” as his audition for The Voice Australia. All four chairs turned, and Lane joined Team Keith (Keith Urban).

Lane’s performance of “Even Though I’m Leaving” has so far been seen over 5 million times across YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. The performance caught the eye of Luke Combs and his team and Lane was invited to be the opening act on Luke’s massive, sold-out Australian & New Zealand Tour with Cody Johnson, taking place in August 2023.

Lane is completing his Higher School Certificate in 2023 and looking forward to getting stuck into writing, performing, and releasing more music as he commences his musical journey.

“Love In A Country Town” is Lane’s first release on Chugg Music and was written by Nashville heavyweights, Neil Mason (The Cadillac Three), Ryan Hurd and Aaron Eshuis.
