Brisbane outfit Hey Geronimo are set to give live music fans their first chance to hear an explosion of music from their debut album, 'Crashing Into The Sun' out 1st July 2016.
The short run of four live shows follows over fifty thousand views online and strong radio support across triple j for the album’s debut track, "Boredom".
Since forming in Brisbane’s burgeoning indie scene, Hey Geronimo has developed the reputation of having a formidable live show. As UK tastemaker magazine, Record of the Day said of their 2016 BIGSOUND performance, "They deliver their live set of razor-sharp pop with an instantly engaging get on board, or get out of they way attitude."
Lead singer and guitarist, Pete Kilroy says, "As music fans ourselves, there’s nothing we dig more than seeing a band playing new songs live and really nailing the performance. Hopefully, that feeling is something people will experience during this set of shows."
The run of shows also marks the debut tour for the band’s newest member, Sydney’s pop-wizard Pluto Jonze, who has now permanently joined the group on keys.
Audiences should expect a dizzying night of warped rock when Hey Geronimo hit the stage. New album tracks are intertwined with previous stand-out hits including, Lazer Gun Show and Carbon Affair, in a set which is guaranteed to work up a sweat and leave live music fans wanting more.
